London travelcards

A Travelcard allows unlimited travel on almost all public transport within London's "zones"–including rail, tube, DLR, tram and bus services. See Transport for London's zone map (link opens a new browser window) in PDF for information on zones. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader (link opens a new browser window) to view the PDF.

If you're travelling into the city with East Midlands Trains, you can buy a Travelcard extension for your ticket into London. Or you can buy a Travelcard from [most of our stations – needs checking] or a tube station in London

Types of Travelcard are:

One-day Travelcard – off-peak

This ticket is generally designed to permit travel within London zones after 1000 on working days, plus throughout the weekend and public holidays.

One-day Travelcard – peak

This ticket is valid throughout the day of purchase, and is also valid for any journey starting before 4:30am the next day.

Three-day Travelcard – off-peak

This ticket is similar to the off-peak Travelcard above but is valid for three days. It can only be bought inside London's travel “zones”.

Three-day Travelcard – peak

Similar to the peak Travelcard above but valid for three days. It can only be bought inside London's travel “zones”.
